How Your Custom Countertops Are Created

You always know what happens next, and what it costs, before any work begins.

    1. 01

      Plan

Send photographs and approximate measurements. We review the substrate, layout, and condition, then respond with a realistic planning range. No visit is required for this step.

    2. 02

      Design

When a project qualifies, we visit the room to assess the surface and develop the base color, movement, accents, and finish. You approve a physical sample before any surface work begins.

    3. 03

      Create

We confirm scope, schedule, and price in a fixed proposal. On installation day we protect the room, prepare the substrate, and pour your custom surface on-site to the approved direction.

    4. 04

      Finish

We bring the surface to a protective finish, walk through the completed work with you, and hand over written care guidance. We remain available for questions after the pour.

What to expect on installation day

These details are confirmed in your fixed proposal so there are no surprises.

    What to remove

Clear the countertops of small appliances and loose items. We walk you through anything else before the pour date.

    Sinks and plumbing

Sink, cooktop, and plumbing coordination is planned during inspection and confirmed in your fixed proposal.

When the kitchen can be used

Limited use resumes after initial cure. Full use follows the documented cure timeline, which we walk through before we leave.

    Honest expectations

Not every existing countertop is a good candidate for resurfacing. We recommend replacement when the condition, material, or project goals make resurfacing inappropriate.

    Durable, not indestructible

Built for daily kitchen use, but not stone. Cutting boards and trivets are required to protect the finish.

    Artistic variation is expected

Every surface is poured by hand, so movement and veining vary naturally. This is the character of a handmade surface, not a defect.

    Some damage may be repairable

Localized damage can often be refinished or re-poured in place. We assess the type and severity before recommending anything.

Samples establish the approved color palette, movement, and overall design direction. Because every surface is created by hand, the finished countertop will contain natural artistic variation and will not be an exact copy of the sample.
